The bonntechoms online meeting system is designed to make meeting agenda and documents available over a secure internet link. As an internet based application, the bonntechoms allows administrators to quickly construct and distribute meeting documents without the costly overheads of print and distribution. Through the reduction in print, we make a positive environmental step and through the elimination of collation and distribution we reduce costs, make it easier to achieve deadlines and reduce the risk of important papers going astray.

For meeting participants bonntechoms provides a means to access the meeting materials via a secure login from anywhere in the world where internet is available. It allows participants to record private electronic notes on agenda items for later recall, and to keyword search through the meeting data to facilitate recall and reference to past meeting items.

In the development of the bonntechoms application, we have specifically consulted with Board members, CEOs and meeting administrators toward ensuring the system was (a) easy to use, (b) aid the meeting process and (c) provide a one-stop-shop for board member participation. To this end we developed an online resource component to bonntechoms to allow for the distribution of resource materials to the board members within the same secure context.
